Terms of use

Oksalo is a platform where people list items for sale and contact one another. Oksalo is not a party to any sale. We do not own, inspect, store, ship or guarantee any item listed, and the contract of sale is between the buyer and the seller alone.

You must be 18 or older, register with a phone number you control, and keep your credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you believe it has been accessed by someone else.

You may list only items you own or are authorised to sell, and only where doing so is lawful. Prohibited listings include illegal goods, counterfeits, weapons, drugs, prescription medicines, adult content, stolen property, and anything whose sale is restricted under Indian law.

Your listing must describe the item accurately, including faults. Using photographs that are not of the actual item is not allowed.

Do not harass other users, send unsolicited commercial messages, scrape the platform, attempt to bypass security, or use Oksalo to defraud anyone. We may remove listings and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms, at our discretion and without notice where the conduct is serious.

You keep ownership of the photographs and text you upload. You grant Oksalo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. You confirm you have the right to grant that licence.

Oksalo is provided as it is. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that sellers or buyers will act in good faith, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from a transaction between users, and any liability we do have is limited to the amount you have paid us, which for most users is nothing.

We may change these terms; material changes will be notified on the platform. You may stop using Oksalo at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. We may terminate an account that breaches these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of the jurisdiction in which Oksalo is registered have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
