How Oksalo works
Buying and selling on Oksalo takes a few minutes. Here is the whole process, from posting an ad to handing something over.
Selling
- 1
Post your ad
Pick a category, add photos and set a price. Categories like cars and property ask for the specifics buyers filter on — year, kilometres, BHK, area — so fill those in and your listing reaches more people.
- 2
Reply to buyers
Interested buyers message you through Oksalo. Your phone number stays private until you choose to share it.
- 3
Agree a price and meet
Settle the price in chat, then meet somewhere public to complete the sale. Mark the listing sold when you are done.
Buying
- 1
Search or browse
Start from a category, narrow by city, then filter on price, condition and the details that matter for what you are buying.
- 2
Message the seller
Ask for more photos, the service history, the bill — whatever you need. Keep the conversation on Oksalo so there is a record of it.
- 3
Inspect, then pay
See the item in person before any money changes hands. If a seller pushes for payment in advance, walk away.
What it costs
Nothing. Posting a listing is free, browsing is free, and Oksalo takes no commission on a sale.
